Soul was Joshua Bolt on Here Come the Brides from 1968 to 1970 and Officer John Davis in Magnum Force in 1973. He also starred in the 1979 hit TV movie adaptation Salem’s Lot by Stephen King and Appointment With Death with Peter Ustinov in 1988.
David was also a singer and scored a huge #1 hit with in Canada/USA/UK and other countries with “Don’t Give Up on Us” and “Silver Lady” (#1 in UK) in 1977.

David’s wife, Helen Snell said he died on Thursday “after a valiant battle for life in the loving company of family.
“David Soul—beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother—died yesterday after a valiant battle for life in the loving company of family. He shared many extraordinary gifts in the world as actor, singer, storyteller, creative artist and dear friend. His smile, laughter and passion for life will be remembered by the many whose lives he has touched.”
David Soul was married 5 times and had 6 children.
