Warner Bros. Pictures has confirmed that the first full-length trailer for the highly-anticipated “Evil Dead Rise” will launch online tomorrow – marking the first big trailer premiere of the year.
In what marks the fifth “Evil Dead” film following Sam Raimi’s original trilogy and Fede Alvarez’s remake, though how it might link to any of those is under wraps for now.
In the film, a road-weary Beth pays an overdue visit to her older sister Ellie who is raising three kids on her own in a cramped Los Angeles apartment.
The sisters’ reunion is cut short by the discovery of a “mysterious book deep in the bowels of Ellie’s building, giving rise to flesh-possessing demons, and thrusting Beth into a primal battle for survival as she is faced with the most nightmarish version of motherhood imaginable.”
