Universal Pictures has premiered a second trailer for the long-awaited sequel “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” which arrives over a decade after the “Shrek” spin-off hit cinemas.
In the new film, daring outlaw Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for peril and disregard for safety have taken their toll. Puss (Antonio Banderas) has burned through eight of his nine lives, and getting them back will send Puss in Boots on his grandest quest yet through the Black Forest to find the mythical Wishing Star.
Puss will also have to humble himself and ask for help from his former partner and nemesis: the captivating Kitty Soft Paws (Salma Hayek). Along the way, they’re helped by the chatty, relentlessly cheerful mutt, Perro (Harvey Guillen).
Together, our trio of heroes will have to stay one step ahead of Goldilocks (Florence Pugh) and the Three Bears Crime Family, ‘Big’ Jack Horner (John Mulaney) and the bounty hunter known as The Big Bad Wolf (Wagner Moura).
Olivia Colman, Ray Winstone, Samson Kayo, Anthony Mendez and Da’Vine Joy Randolph co-star. Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado serve as director and co-director on the film which arrives in cinemas on December 21st.
