SHAKIRA ORDERED TO STAND TRIAL FOR TAX FRAUD IN SPAIN, PROSECUTORS SEEK 8-YEAR PRISON TERM
A Spanish judge ordered Shakira to stand trial for allegedly failing to pay $13.9 million in taxes on income that she earned between 2012 and 2014. Prosecutors will seek an eight-year prison sentence and a stiff fine if they win. Shakira has denied any wrongdoing.

MARIAH CAREY GIVES EMOTIONAL SPEECH ABOUT THE HEROES OF 9/11 AT NYC CONCERT
Mariah Carey reflected on 9/11 during her performance in New York City and opened up about her beloved 1993 single “Hero.” Mariah paid tribute to the heroes at the 2022 Global Citizen Festival on Saturday. Carey told fans at Central park “I was honored to have played a little, teeny part in the aftermath of that day as my song ‘Hero’ became one of the ‘unofficial anthems.” It did. I have a hard time acknowledging my own stuff, but whatever. It comforted us in our collective loss and our recovery.”
MAROON 5 ANNOUNCES 2023 LAS VEGAS RESIDENCY
Maroon 5 announced they’ll headline a new residency at Park MGM in Las Vegas starting March 24, 2023. Sixteen shows are planned from March until August 2023. Tickets on sale October 3rd. The announcement comes amid multiple cheating and sexting scandals involving frontman Adam Levine.
THE SPICE GIRLS RELEASING 25TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION OF SPICEWORLD
The Spice Girls are releasing a special edition of “Spiceworld” on November 4th in celebration of the record’s 25th Anniversary! “Spiceworld 25” has been curated by the iconic girl group and combines the original chart-topping album with bonus tracks and B-Sides, along with previously unreleased recordings from the archive. The band said: “The ‘Spiceworld’ era was such a fun time for us; we’d just had a number one album with ‘Spice’, we were travelling all over the world and meeting our amazing fans, we released our second album AND we had our very own movie!
