Sign up with your friends and family to bowl in support of mentoring programs for youth 6 – 17 years of age.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel York has been providing life changing mentoring experiences since 1913 and in the Peel Region alone since 1967. This year alone, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel York has helped provide support to over 1,800 youth in our community. For every $1 invested into the program returns $18-$23 to society through taxes, higher incomes, volunteerism, and charitable donations.
One of their amazing fundraising initiatives is The 2026 Tim Horton's Move For Kids' Sake. Last year, they exceeded their goal of $100,000, raising over $133,000 to support their mentoring programs!
Here's how YOU can participate the 2026 Tim Horton's Move for Kids' Sake events!
Step 1: Select your preferred date, location and activity
- Peel Regional Police Bowling event - Sunday, March 1st from 2 – 4 pm at Classic Bowl in Mississauga
- Bowling event – Sunday, March 8th from 2 – 4 pm at Pro Bowl in Richmond Hill
- York Regional Police Bowling event – Thursday, April 9th from 4:30 - 6:30 at Stellar Lanes in Newmarket
- Bowling event - Thursday, April 16th from 4:30-6:30 at Stellar Lanes in Newmarket
- Banker’s Day bowling event – Tuesday, May 5th at 6:00-8:00 at Classic Bowl in Mississauga
- Pick your own activity to do virtually whenever it’s convenient for you – walk, run, hike or get active in your favourite way!
Step 2: Register to setup your bowling team and create your personal pages.
Step 3: Raise a minimum of $100 per person.
Step 4: Spread the word on social media and help us raise funds to reach our goal of $100,000
Step 5: Join us on your selected event day and have fun celebrating your fundraising success!
