Meet Juno, a lovable 4-year-old girl with a big heart and an even bigger personality! This sweet girl is a total cuddle bug and is happiest curled up beside her favourite people.
Juno is also active and playful and loves getting her zoomies out in a secure, fenced area. She’s a big fan of durable toys like Kongs and enjoys relaxing with a good chew. She can be a little protective of things she really loves, so a treat trade is the way to go!
Juno does well on walks overall, although she can have the occasional reactive moment and will benefit from continued training and consistency. She can also be selective about her dog friends, so slow and thoughtful introductions are important.
Juno is looking for an experienced dog owner who can give her the patience, structure and routine she needs to feel comfortable and confident. A quieter home without children or lots of visitors would be ideal. She hasn’t been tested with cats.
With the right person, Juno’s loyalty and affection really shine. Give her the time and stability she needs, and you’ll have a devoted best friend for life!
Juno is available to meet at the Ontario SPCA York Region Animal Centre seven days a week, Monday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
And when you adopt from the Ontario SPCA, your new best friend goes home spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, along with Royal Canin food to help make the transition into their new home a little easier.
