About Machine Gun Kelly (MGK)
Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), born Colson Baker on April 22, 1990, is a versatile American musician, singer, rapper, and actor known for his rapid-fire lyrical flow and transition from hip-hop to pop-punk. Raised by missionary parents, he experienced a nomadic childhood before settling in Cleveland, Ohio. Following early mixtape success and signing with Bad Boy Records in 2011, he gained mainstream attention for his debut album Lace Up (2012). After a notable 2018 feud with Eminem, he successfully pivoted to pop-punk with the chart-topping 2020 album Tickets to My Downfall.
