As the quest for the Stanley Cup continues in Canada and the USA the NHL announced today it is heading to Sweden in November.
The NHL and the National Hockey League Players’ Association in conjunction with Live Nation announced plans for the 2023 NHL Global Series Sweden, which will feature our Toronto Maple Leafs pus Detroit Red Wings, Minnesota Wild and Ottawa Senators in four regular-season games scheduled for November 16-19 at the Avicii Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
This marks the 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th games played in Stockholm, Sweden which has hosted more NHL regular-season games than any other city outside of North America.
Each team will play 2 regular-season games in Stockholm as part of the 2023 NHL Global Series.
