Dua Lipa plays the role of Mermaid Barbie and other actors play versions of the famous doll. America Ferrera stars as a human, Helen Mirren as Narrator, Issa Rae as President Barbie, Kate McKinnon as Rockstar Barbie, Mississauga’s Simu Liu as another Ken and Michael Cera as the only Allen a long forgotten discontinued buddy of Ken! Will Ferrell, Rhea Perlman, Emma Mackey and many more star in “Barbie: The Movie” in Theatres on July 21st.

The first “Barbie” trailer released 3 months ago featured a tribute to Stanley Kubrik’s “2001: A Space Odyssey” and officially introduced the world to Robbie’s Barbie, but it didn’t reveal much about the characters or the storyline.
Now we know that Barbie and Ken have been placed in the real world and forced to wrestle with the difficulties of no longer being dolls.
