Legendary British born Australian Actress, Singer and Activist OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN passed away Monday at 73 in Santa Ynez Valley California.
OLIVIA battled breast Cancer for 30 years and inspired millions around the world with her strength and courage.
NEWTON JOHN made an impact on the world of music in the 1970s and 1980s and her iconic performance as SANDY in the original GREASE movie in 1978 along with her lifetime friend JOHN TRAVOLTA.
Travolta posted a photo on Instagram with the caption âMy dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better. âYour impact was incredible. I love you so much. We will see you down the road and we will all be together again. Yours from the first moment I saw you and forever! Your Danny, your John!â

OLIVIAâs husband John Easterling posted the following statement:
âDame Olivia Newton-John (73) passed away peacefully at her Ranch in Southern California this morning, surrounded by family and friends. We ask that everyone please respect the familyâs privacy during this very difficult time. Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer.
Her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine continues with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made in her memory to the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund (ONJFoundationFund.org).
Olivia is survived by her husband John Easterling; daughter Chloe Lattanzi; sister Sarah Newton-John; brother Toby Newton-John; nieces and nephews Tottie, Fiona and Brett Goldsmith; Emerson, Charlie, Zac, Jeremy, Randall, and Pierz Newton-John; Jude Newton-Stock, Layla Lee; Kira and Tasha Edelstein; and Brin and Valerie Hall.â
Oliviaâs family plans on accepting a state funeral offered by Australia. Her niece Tottie Goldsmith said âWe will, on behalf of not just our family, but I think Australia needs it. Sheâs so loved,â The premier of the Australian state of Victoria, Daniel Andrews, further confirmed Tuesday that the government would offer a state funeral to celebrate Newton-Johnâs âAmazing contributions. She took her cancer journey and used that to save lives and change lives, and thatâs just a deeply impressive thing,â
