Hi! I’m Sucre!
Sucre is a very lovely female cat with a friendly personality and a lot of love to give. She enjoys attention and affection, but she can get overstimulated quickly and needs her space from time to time.
She is very good at letting you know how she’s feeling -she will communicate her needs clearly to those who take the time to listen.
She will thrive in a home with experienced cat lovers who understand feline communication and can respect her signals.
Sucre will be a wonderful companion for someone who can appreciate her unique personality and give her the understanding, calm environment that she needs to feel safe and happy.
If you are looking for a sweet independent cat who will show love on her terms, Sucre may be the [perfect match for you!

Hi! I’m Sheldon
Hi, I’m Sheldon. I came to the York centre as a transferred stray so not much is known about my past. I am estimated to be approximately 1 year old. I do have some home requirements that need to be met to ensure success for my future furr-ever home and myself. I am not house trained yet, but am working on it. I require a quiet home environment. My home must not have any children and my people will need to be very patient with me – I am very shy and nervous around all new people and need proper time to decompress and feel more comfortable. I am also considered a flight risk if I get scared. It will take me a while to truly relax, I am a bit of a diamond in the ruff at the moment, but with patience and compassion in a home that understands and is able to meet my needs I will blossom. If you think that you meet my furr-ever home needs please contact the centre and we can have a meet and greet.

Hi! I’m Cruise Ship
This here is Cruise Ship. He is adequately named, as he is a big boy. While he is big in size, he is the definition of a gentle giant. He gets nervous is new environments, so it may take him a while to warm up. He prefers small spaces to adjust as they do not overwhelm him. He is an older gentleman, so a quiet home is best. He does love a good grooming session and his purr will sound like an engine when you brush him. He would do best as a single cat in the home. If you want to bring a distinguished gentleman into your life, Cruise Ship is the cat for you. Contact the centre for more information as he is in a foster home right now, so any meet and greets will need to be scheduled in advance.

Hi! I’m Crissy (delayed Adoption)
Hello there, my name is Crissy. I am a two-year-old boxer-mix. I am super sweet and cuddly. While a little shy at first, I warm up quickly and want all the love and affection you can give me. I would be a great family dog and would love to have some human siblings to play with. I am actively working on my housetraining, but with some guidance I should catch on very quickly. I also give some amazing snuggles, just ask the centre staff. If you think we could be a great fit, please come have a meet and greet with me.

Hi, I’m Bean!
I’m the sweetest, friendliest, and goofiest pup you’ll ever meet—seriously, I’m all about fun! I love playing fetch (I’m basically a fetch champion), and I’ve got this hilarious habit of outsmarting squirrels in the yard. You should see them trying to keep up with me! My energy? Oh, it’s super contagious! You’ll be laughing and running around with me in no time. And when playtime’s over, I’m also a pro at cuddles. Yep, I’ll snuggle right up and make you feel like the most loved human ever. I’m great with dog-savvy kids and other pups, but cats? We wouldn’t be besties. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, goofy best friend, I’m your guy! Adopt me, and let’s have a lifetime of love, fun, and squirrel-chasing adventures!

Hi there! I’m Tootsie, your soon-to-be best bunny buddy!
I’m a curious 1 ½-year-old explorer who loves playing hide and seek and solving fun puzzles. My days are full of hopping adventures as I discover all the nooks and crannies of my home.
I’m brave, smart, and love showing off how clever I am, but don’t worry, I’m also sweet and enjoy snuggling up during quiet moments. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, independent little furball who also enjoys human company, I might just be the bunny for you!
You can find me at the Humane Society of Durham Region, and check out more about me at HSDR.org!

Hi! I’m Lowkey
Hello, I’m Lowkey. I’m a sweet, independent fellow, but I can be a bit shy. New surroundings make me a little nervous, so I’ll need a bit of time to adjust. I like to take things slow, you see. But once I’m comfortable, I’ll be your loyal companion. I’m a fan of treats, perhaps a little too much, as I’ve been told I need to shed a few pounds. But hey, who doesn’t love a good treat, right? With some love, patience, and maybe a little bit of treat rationing, I’m sure I’ll fit right into your home. Adopt me, and let’s make some wonderful memories together.

ABOUT:
Royal Canin was founded back in 1968 by a vet with a vision – to improve the health of cats and dogs through nutrition. That mission still drives everything we do. We have a close relationship with the world of dog & cat professionals, particularly breeders and shelters. We craft the ideal recipe to meet each pet’s health needs so they can enjoy the best health possible.
Some options for tailored nutrition include:
Breed Health Nutrition® features high/quality protein sources, unique nutrients, and is designed with specific shape, size and texture for each dog’s facial and jaw structures and biting patterns
Skin and coat concerns and stomach and intestinal upsets are among the top reasons owners take their cat to the veterinarian. Dental tartar affects 85% of cats 3 years and older and 1 in 3 cats is overweight or obese. Our Feline Care Nutrition products were formulated to support cats with common sensitivities.
