Nelly Furtado will host Canada’s Biggest Night in Music!
The 2024 Juno Awards are sceduled for March 24, 2024 at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax.
Charlotte Cardin, The Beeches and Maestro Fresh Wes have been announced performancers with more on the way.
“The Godfather” Maestro Fresh Wes will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. He is the fourth black artist and the first hip hop artist to be inducted into the CMHOF.

It’s a big day in Hiphop . I’ll be the fourth black artist inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and the very first Hiphop artist inducted. I couldn’t do it without the help of all my family, friends, producers, collaborators, videographers, DJ’s , fans etc. THANK YOU ALL
I also want to announce that I have a scholarship named after me.
THE MAESTRO FRESH WES SCHOLARSHIP is to assist black students interested in learning a trade out of the Nova Scotia Community College’s Akerley Campus in Dartmouth NS . I feel that we do not have a shortage of rappers, but we do have a shortage of black youth involved in skilled trades such as welding, plumbing, carpentry etc. I truly believe since I helped to build black music in Canada , it would be irresponsible of me not to inspire black builders. Applicants have already started submitting and we will pick a winner by March 2024. Special salute to the @novascotiacommunitycollege for helping this come into fruition.
