There’s no place like home and Melanie Martin is thrilled to be back where it all began—waking up Toronto with Z103.5! Program Director Matt Wreggitt announced Melanie’s return starting today as she joins The Morning Rush with Jimmy T.
Melanie’s morning show career started some years ago on Z103.5, where she quickly became a beloved fixture in the Toronto CMA radio landscape. After 14 years in major market radio, she took some time off to travel and diversify her career taking-on Voice Tracked shows in the USA and Canada. She is the recipient of the 2019 Voice Tracker of the Year Award.
After building an impressive career both nationally and internationally, she is back home today, reconnecting with Toronto listeners. Of her return to Z103.5 Martin said: “It’s like coming home. I’ve had the privilege of connecting with listeners in many markets from Canada to the USA, but nothing feels quite like Toronto. This city has my heart, and I’m beyond excited to be back where it all started, with a professional programming team and a super talented co-host like Jimmy T”!
