Vin Diesel updated fans on the future of his Fast and Furious franchise amid legal issues surrounding him.
Diesel announced on Instagram on Friday that he met with the writers and team behind the planned finale for Universal Pictures action movie. This is Diesel’s first public update on the movie since his former assistant suing him for sexual battery back in December for an alleged incident that happened 14 years ago at a hotel during production on Fast Five. Diesel also produces the movie, and has denied all the allegations.
Fast X the 10th installment in the Fast and Furious series that stars Diesel as racing fanatic Dom Toretto, hit theaters in May and surpassed $700 million at the global box office. In addition to a finale that will star Diesel, another film to star Dwayne Johnson from the fast crew is also be planned.
A sequel to Fast X is scheduled for release on April 4, 2025! Can’t wait!
