According to Nielsen and Adobe Analytics, Kansas City’s 25-22 overtime victory over San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night averaged 123.4 million viewers across television and streaming platforms.

Sunday’s game was only the second of the 58 Super Bowls to go to overtime. The previous one was in 2017, when New England Patriots rallied from a 28-3 deficit and beat Atlanta Falcons 34-28.
CBS said 202.4 million people in the U.S. cumulatively watched all or part of the Super Bowl, representing the game’s largest total audience ever, up 10% from the comparable figure from a year ago.
CBS led the way with the average viewership among the various Paramount-owned properties, generating a figure of 120 million.

The Super Bowl also drew its biggest audience in Canada with an average audience of 10 million viewers on TSN, CTV, and RDS accordinh to preliminary data from Numeris. Viewership peaked at 12.6 million during the halftime show, featuring Usher and special guests including Alicia Keys, HER, Jermane durpis, Ludacris, Lil Jon, Will I Am and more.
Bettors set a record by wagering $185.6 million US on Sunday’s Super Bowl at Nevada’s sportsbooks.
Reports prior to the game projected that a record 68 Million Americans would bet $23 Billion on the game up from 16 Billion in 2023.
The average commercial cost was 7 Million for Super Bowl LVIII ad.
Super Bowl 59 is sceduled for February 9, 2025 in New Orleans!
