Our good friend Shawn Desman announced he’s taking a break from social media to take care of his sick parents. He wrote an emotional letter to his fans and followers expressing his feelings that life was much simpler as a kid but things change as an adult with responsiblities as a husband, father and aging parents.
Shawn said ” I have 2 sick parents who need me and chasing an algorithm or a viral moment on social media seems irrelevant to me in this moment. So I’m taking a break. I live my life to make others happy, smile and feel good but I need to feel good in order to do that…Now I promise you that I wasn’t going anywhere and I’m not, making music is my life, my emotional outlet and I’ve made some incredible new music that the world has yet to hear but you will… Mom & Dad want you to hear it. See you soon…I promise. SD ”
