Cruel Summer by Taylor Swift was originally released in 2019 on her 7th studio album “Lover” but picked up steam during the ERAS CONCERT TOUR and now #1 film at the Box Office for a 2nd week in a row.
For the first time “Cruel Summer” lands in the top spot on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 knocking out Drake and J Cole “First Person Shooter” that slips to Number 8. Last week Drake had 7 songs in the Top 10 and this week 2.
Cruel Summer was officially released as a radio single in June 2023.
Taylor dropped 2 new remixes of the song last Wednesday and said “I’m releasing the live audio from the tour so we can all shriek it in the comfort of our homes and cars PLUS a brand new remix by @lpgiobbi 😜 Thank you, so much, forever, wow, just thank you!!!”
