Dr. Frasier Crane is back! The original NBC series ran for 11 seasons from September 16, 1993 to May 13, 2004 and was a spin off of Cheers which also aired on NBC from September 30, 1982, to May 20, 1993,
The new series follows Kelsey Grammer as Frasier Crane in the next chapter of his life as he returns to Boston with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge and an old dream or two to finally fulfill.
Frasier features Jack Cutmore-Scott as Frasier’s son Freddy; Nicholas Lyndhurst as Frasier’s old college buddy turned university professor Alan; Toks Olagundoye as Olivia, Alan’s colleague and head of the university’s psychology department; Jess Salgueiro as Freddy’s roommate Eve; and Anders Keith as Frasier’s nephew David.
Two of the original stars will also be returning: Bebe Neuwirth as the ex-wife of Frasier and mother of Freddy, and Peri Gilpin, who played Frasier’s co-worker Roz. David Hyde Pierce (Niles) and Jane Leeves (Daphne) have not returned for the new series, while John Mahoney (Martin) passed away in 2018.
The new FRASIER series was developed by Chris Harris (How I Met Your Mother) and Joe Cristalli (Life in Pieces)
The first 2 episodes of the re-boot premiere today on Paramount+ and a new episode every Thursday.
All 11 seasons of the original series are also available on Paramount and Crave.
