A24 dropped the first trailer of ‘THE IRON CLAW’ starring Zac Efron as Kevin Von Erich, Jeremy Allen White as Kerry Von Erich, Stanley Simons as Mike Von Erich, Harris Dickinson as David Von Erich, Maura Tierney as Doris Von Erich, Holt McCallany as Fritz Von Erich, Lily James as Pam Adkisson, Maxwell Jacob Friedman as Lance Von Erich, Ryan Nemeth as Gino Hernandez, Brady Pierce plays the role of Michael Hayes, Aaron Dean Eisenberg as Ric Flair, Kevin Anton as Harley Race, Cazzey Louis Cereghino as Bruiser Brody Chavo Guerrero Jr. as The Sheik

The trailer explores how the real-life Erich wrestling empire was built and brought to the deadly brink by Jack Adkisson Sr., known professionally as Fritz Von Erich.

Efron and White star as Kevin and Kerry, the oldest and middle Von Erich brothers and the favorites of their father.

The film is based on the true story of the Von Erichs and follows the rise and fall of the family dynasty of wrestlers who made a huge impact on professional wrestling from the 1960’s to the present day.

The Von Erich family not only had to battle inside the squared circle but fight the “Von Erich curse” outside the ring.

Marshall Von Erich said he was encouraged by the presence of pro wrestler Chavo Guerrero who serves as an actor and wrestling consultant on set in terms of the production trying to portray accuracy. Other family members said they did not contribute but our happy with what they have seen in the trailer. Marshall said “Just to be clear for those asking, my family didn’t have involvement with the production of this movie. That being said it looks great!

Ross And Marshall Von Erich posted the trailer on their Instagram and said “For the hard-core Von Erich fans don’t expect this to be 100% accurate because my dad had no involvement. That being said, @a24 and the actors took it very serious and we’re still excited to see it. December 22nd in theaters.
