44-year-old USHER will headline Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show presented by Apple Music on February 11, 2024 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, marking the first time the big game will be played in Sin City!
Ratings for Rihanna’s halftime performance in 2023 where she revealed she was pregnant with her second child, were the highest of all time, according to Nielsen with more than 121 million viewers. The show also introduced a deal with Apple Music as halftime’s sponsor following a long run with Pepsi.
Other Super Bowl acts in recent years include Eminem, Dr. Dre. Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J. Blige in 2022, The Weeknd in 2021 and Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, J Balvin, in 2020.
Usher said “It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before. Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I’ll see you real soon.”
Jay-Z’s entertainment company Roc Nation who struck a deal in 2019 to produce the NFL’s high-profile halftime show called Usher “the ultimate artist and showman” and hailed “his flawless singing and exceptional choreography.”
Usher currently has a residency in Las Vegas which began in 2022 at Park MGM and often creates magically viral moments interacting with his fans and celebrities who attend the shows. Usher added more “My Way” shows in November and early December at the Dolby Live Theatre. Usher announced Sunday that he’ll release a new LP “Coming Home” on game day February 11, 2024.

Kim Kardashian who knows everything appeared in a humorous promo letting Usher know that he was performing at the 2023 Super Bowl! Other videos produced in the same style were posted including OBJ, BeastMode Marshawn Lynch, Deion Sander and Usher himself calling from the future.
