Joe Jonas Divorce Heating Up With Sophie & The Kids

This divorce looks like it’s starting to get a little more contentious.

Yesterday, ex Sophie Turner says Joe is unlawfully keeping their children in New York City and Sophie wants them “returned” to England with her.

Sophie says, back in April of this year, the family made England their “permanent home,” and always discussed at great lengths their desire to raise their kids in the UK, and for the kids to also attend school there. Sophie felt is was a safe place to raise kids, and they were both down with this plan.It looks like there was an agreement in place whereby the kids would stay with Joe while the Jonas Bros toured the U.S. because Sophie was actually busy filming a series. It looks like where the confusion comes in to play was after she was done shooting her project, the kids would return to New York, Sophie would pick them up and return home to England. Well, it looks like that’s not going to happen now.Just this past weekend, Joe and Sophie talked and Joe is refusing to give the kids their passports to her. Now, Sophie just filed legal documents in federal court, citing the “Hague Convention”, it’s an international treaty, which actually deals with child abduction across country lines…oh boy. She wants a court order demanding her ex Joe give back the passports so she can take the children with her back to EnglandJoe fired off a legal letter saying Sophie is the one who has crossed the line, violating an order by a Florida judge by trying to take their kids permanently to England.
