BARBIE is now the 11th highest grossing movie at the Domestic Box Office surpassing the 2012 “The Avengers” movie at $623 Million
The Greta Gerwig movie needs to add another $27.28 Million to pass 2015’s “Jurassic World” for the #10 spot.
The highest-grossing film domestically is 2015’s “Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens,” which took in more than $936 million in the U.S.
2009’s “Avatar” – which is #4 on the domestic list and #1 with $2.9 billion in worldwide lifetime gross followed by Avengers: End Game at 2 with 2.79 Billion and Avatar – The Way of Water at #3 with 2.3 Billion, Titanic 2.2 Billion, Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens at #4 with 2 Billion and Avengers; Infinity War just over 2 Billion rounds out Top 5.
“Barbie” is #14 on the worldwide list with $1.4 billion so far, according to Box Office Mojo.
