Billy Miller best known for his roles on “The Young and the Restless” where he won 3 Daytime Emmy Awards and “General Hospital,” died at the age of 43 on Friday. Miller would have turned 44 on Sunday September 17th.
Miller’s manager confirmed the death in a statement “Emmy Award-Winning Actor Billy Miller died on September 15, 2023, in Austin, Texas. The actor was struggling with manic depression when he died.” A cause of death was not provided.
The Y&R posted on their Instagram “The daytime community mourns the loss of Billy Miller who graced Y&R with his talent for many years as Billy Abbott. Our deepest sympathies to his family and loved ones.”

Billy Miller began his daytime career on “All My Children,” playing Richie Novak for a short stint before joining the cast of “The Young and the Restless” in 2008 as the fourth iteration of Billy Abbott. He left the show in 2014. Miller joined the cast of “General Hospital” in 2014 and played Jason Morgan and Drew Cain. He was a series regular until 2019. He also appeared on CSI, Suits, Ray Donovan and Truth Be Told.
Billy is survived by his mother, Patricia, sister Megan, brother-in-law Ronnie, nephew, Grayson and niece, Charley.
