39 year old International Scottish Superstar dj/artist/producer Calvin Harris tied the knot with 33 year old British TV presenter and radio host Vick Hope on Saturday September 9th according to People.
Billboard said The couple held their reception in a tent on the grounds of Hulne Priory, Alnwick, Northumberland, and the ceremony outside.
Guests enjoyed the after-party, with the back of the priory transformed into a Glastonbury-style event. Fast food stands served burgers, pizzas and Nigerian dishes in a nod to Vick’s heritage.
The Sun UK reported that Nile Rodgers and his band Chic performed for guests, which included BBC Radio DJs Scott Mills, Vernon Kay and Jordan North. Nile kicked off his set with Luther Vandross’s 1981 song Never Too Much, followed by hits by Madonna, Beyonce, Pharrell and David Bowie and wraped up with his classic 1979 disco anthem “Good Times.” Rodgers will be in Toronto opening for Duran Duran on Tuesday September 19th.
Both Hope and Calvin enjoy keeping their personal life private. She previously told Hello! Magzine about their relationship status “You know what, I was very overwhelmed by the interest in it, but I’m keeping my private life private. I’ve never really experienced this before about my private life, but it’s just for us.”
Ahead of their wedding, Harris posted on August 30 that his Ibiza residency season had officially ended and no doubt focusing on his wedding and now his honeymoon! Congrats to Calvin and Hope! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness!
