Ed Sheeran brought out Eminem for a surprise 2 song performance during his concert at Ford Field in Detroit on Saturday night which followed Sheeran’s intimate performance Friday night at the Royal Oak Music Theatre.
Eminem joined Sheeran during a rendition of “Lose Yourself” then rolled into a quick duet of “Stan”
Ed asked the crowd “I wonder if I could play you a cover of an Eminem song tonight?” which received cheers from the hometown crowd.
After the song, Sheeran told the crowd that Eminem was going to do one song then said, “You can’t just do one song.” and performed the 2000 hit song “Stan” with Sheeran singing the part originally performed by Dido.
The two also sang “Stan” during the 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Ed has always been a huge fan of Eminem and previously expressed his for love and said in a documentary that he helped him cure a stutter he had when he was a kid.
