Congratulations to our good friend David Guetta the most streamed DJ/producer ever on Spotify and the highest position ever for a dj on the global chart.
David has over 74,723,084 monthly listeners on Spotify and his song is “Titanium” featuring Sia has been streamed 1,382,494,082 followed by “I’m Good” with Bebe Rexha at 1,084,085,457 as of July 12, 2023.
Toronto’s very own The Weeknd is the overall leader on the Spotify Most Streamed Artist chart followed Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and David Guetta at number 4. Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Bad Bunny, Drake, Justin Bieber and Shakira round out the top 10.
Guetta posted his accomplishment on his Instagram with the caption “We made history together! It’s the first time that a DJ / producer has ranked so high in the overall @spotify chart.”
55 year old David Guetta began his DJ career in 1986 and is a stape in nightclubs and massive electronic festivals for decades. He released his first album “Just A Little More Love” in 2002 and has been crowned #1 DJ in The World 3 times by voters on DJ Mag.
In the past year Guetta has found internaltional success with reboots of classic euro dance songs originally done by Eiffel 65, Haddaway and La Bouche with versions of I’m Good, Baby Don’t Hurt Me and Be My Lover respectively. Check out some of his videos below via YouTube.
