Bebe Rexha’s phone thrower told police he tossed his cell because he thought ‘It Would Be Funny’
There’s nothing funny about getting hit in the head and eye but that’s what happened to Bebe Rexha at a show Sunday night at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York. I’m not sure if alcohol was involved or the guy is just a moron for tossing his phone at Bebe.
Rexha was rushed off stage after the incident and taken to hopsital where she needed stitches and was unable to attend a scheduled meet and greet with fans.
Bebe posted a pic on Monday and just like her hit song with David Guetta said “Im good.”

Bebe provided a video update on her TikTok with the caption “Im okay you guys 💖” and quietly sang ‘I’m good ya I’m feeling alright?

NYPC said the 27-year-old New Jersey native Nicolas Malvagna “intentionally threw a cell phone” at the 33-year-old singer. Malvagna was taken into custody and arraigned on Monday night where he was charged with two counts of assault in the third degree, as well as one count of harassment in the second degree, one count of aggravated harassment in the second degree and a count of attempted assault in the third degree.
Rolling Stone reported that the Manhattan District Attorney’s office said in addition to confessing to the phone toss, Malvagna told them, “I was trying to see if I could hit her with the phone at the end of the show because it would be funny.”
Hopefully Rexha is feeling good today and scheduled to perform tonight at the Fillmore in Philadelphia as part of her Best F’n Night of My Life Tour.
