“Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” is the #1 movie in North America earning $60.5 million over the weekend followed by Spiderman, The Little Mermaid, Guardians of The Galaxy and The Boogeyman rounds out the top 5.
According to Deadline Rise of the Beasts took in $170.5M around the globe with $40M from China.
The science fiction action film is the seventh installment in the Transformers live-action film series. Serving as a standalone sequel to Bumblebee in 2018 and prequel to Transformers in 2007.
TRANFORMERS stars Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback, as well as the voices of Ron Perlman, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Yeoh, Liza Koshy, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Pete Davidson, Colman Domingo, Cristo Fernández, Tongayi Chirisa, Peter Cullen, John DiMaggio, and David Sobolov.
