The Weeknd dropped a new single today “Popular,” featuring Madonna and Playboi Carti.
The track is from the forthcoming soundtrack LP, The Idol Vol. 1 scheduled to be released on June 30 and is the follow up to “Double Fantasy” featuring Future.
The song :Popular” is co-produced by the Weeknd, Mike Dean, and Metro Boomin.
This collaboration is a dream come true for ABEL who hopes one day to produce or co-produce and write/co-write an entire album with Madonna who he calls a “visionary.”
The Idol series debuts this Sunday on HBO and streaming on MAX and Crave in Canada.
