The 2nd and new Global Movie Trailer of one of the most anticipated movies of the summer has arrived and the all-star soundtrack has been revealed!BARBIE: THE ALBUM will feature Dua Lipa, Lizzo, Nicki Minaj, Ava Max, Charli XCX, Khalid, Kid Laroi, Karol G. Dominic Fike, Fifty Fifty, Gayle, HAIM, Ice Spice, PinkPantheress, Ryan Gosling and Tame Impala.
The compilation drops on July 21, the same day the movie hits the big screeen starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. Although many reports suggested Aqua “Barbie Girl” is not in the movie and soundtrack it’s now been confirmed a remake with Nicki Minaj, Ice Spice and Aqua is apart of the project. The track was a global phenom in 1997. Mattel and Aqua spent years battling in court. Barbie Girl was sampled in 2017’s “Not Your Barbie Girl” by Ava Max, who also appears on ‘BARBIE : THE ALBUM.
The album was produced by Mark Ronson, who collaborated with Dua Lipa on the platinum-certified “Electricity” as one half of the electronic duo Silk City.

On Monday, Lipa who stars in the film as Mermaid Barbie announced that her single from the soundtrack “Dance The Night” will be released on Thursday.
The Grammy-winning artist was in Cannes this week where she unveiled her new collaboration with fashion house Versace.
