A family spokesperson says Jerry was battling a “brief illness.” TMZ sources say it was pancreatic cancer that was diagnosed a few months ago and this week he took a turn for the worse.Springer was born in Highgate London England. He was a broadcaster, journalist, actor, producer, lawyer, and politician including serving as the 56th Mayor of Cincinnati in 1977.After his talk show went off air in 2018 Jerry hosted the courtroom show “Judge Jerry,” which aired for 3 seasons.
