SUPER MARIO BROS MOVIE is #1 at the Box Office for the 3rd week and approaching $900 Million mark worldwide
“The Super Mario Bros. Movie” became the highest-grossing animated released of the pandemic era, with domestic ticket sales up to $434.3 million through Sunday and a global total of $871.1 million. It’s closing in on the $1 Billion Dollar mark worldwide in just 18 days of release. It would be only the fourth movie to reach the milestone since the pandemic, after “Spider-Man: No Way Home,’: “Top Gun Maverick” and “Avatar: The Way of Water” from Canadian filmmaker James Cameron.
“Super Mario Bros. Movie” took in 58.2-million domestically in its third week of release. “Evil Dead Rise” was runner up followed by Guy Ritchie’s “00The
Covenant” in 3rd spot Canadian Keanu Reeve’s “John Wick: Chapter Four” in fourth place and “Air” rounds out the Top 5 in theatres.Super Mario has received a 96% audience score.
