Eventhough it’s for a limited time I’m still excited! I’ve been lobbying for this since the day Tim Horton’s decided to take the “Walnut Crunch” off their daily menu in 2014! They discontinued 24 items 9 years ago including my personal fav the Walnut Crunch plus Timbit Dutchie, Blueberry and Chocolate Danish and more.
TIM HORTONS posted a teaser last week “We’re bringing back a classic for National Donut Day. Any guesses?”

Today on April 18th, Tim Horton’s posted on their Twitter feed “This June, an icon is making a comeback. The Walnut Crunch is coming to a Tims near you! Available for a limited time at participating restaurants. #WalnutCrunch #CrunchBackTour”

According to their official website Two fan-favourite Tim Hortons donuts are making a triumphant return for a limited time to celebrate National Donut Day: the Walnut Crunch and Cherry Stick!
Tim Hortons is bringing these two donuts back by popular demand for a cross-Canada Crunch Back Tour that launches on May 31 just in time for guests to celebrate National Donut Day on June 2.
“Both the Walnut Crunch and Cherry Stick were iconic donuts in their time and I’m happy to report they still pack the same punch in every bite,” says Tallis Voakes, Director of Culinary Innovation at Tim Hortons. “Guests are not going to want to miss the chance to enjoy these donuts while they are available for a limited time only.”
