The jury has decided that Gwyneth Paltrow is not at fault for a 2016 ski collision with a retired optometrist at a Utah ski resort during a family trip.
Terry Sanderson, the man involved in the accident, had filed a lawsuit against Paltrow for $300,000. He alleged that the ski accident caused her to run into him. The accident had left Sanderson with four broken ribs, a concussion and brain damage that affected his life according to him.
Turns out the jury’s deliberations ended up with the result of saying Sanderson was at fault and not Paltrow.
The jury awarded Paltrow $1 because she believed it wasn’t about money and she wanted to prove her innocence to the situation.
