The 1962 250 GT Ferrari from the 1986 movie “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” has officially been sold at an auction in Florida for a whopping $18-million.
The car was sold at the Gooding & Company event during the Florida’s collector car weekend. The car was previously purchased in 1971 by Charlez Betz for an affordable price of $2400! The car is just one of 37 that were created between 1960 and 1963.
In 2015, a similar car found in a French barn, where it had been sitting for decades, was auctioned for $18.5 million.
This Ferrari is the only car that was painted Azzuro Metallizzato with a leather interior.
