You thought the Taste of the Danforth coming back was great? Well this September, the third installment of “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” will be releasing in September!
Writer and star of the movie, Nia Vardalos will also be directing this film. Vardalos also confirmed that the cast from the previous movies in the series will be in the third one. Unfortunately, Michael Constantine, who was Toulas father, passed in August of 2021. There is no word how they had written him out of the movie.
In June of 2022, Vardalos posted to Instagram with the caption “Greece baby, Greece!” They began filming the movie in Summer of 2022 and wrapped up filming in August that same year.
Vardalos kept fans updated on her Instagram the whole way through; sharing pictures and how the movie was coming along. Just last week, production company, Focus Features posted this to Twitter:
