Warner Bros and New Line Cinema are signing a deal that will see them create more movies for Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.
The deal is reportedly separate from the Amazon Prime Video Series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and will also not connect with the show.
Warner Bros Pictures hope that the sudden resurgence of new Lord of the Rings and Hobbit films will push for further box office success.
The first Lord of the Rings movie released back 2001 and it will be 20 years this year since the last Lord of the Rings film was released. There is promise that the new films will also be just as successful because of the success of the TV series on Amazon Prime TV and The Hobbit films that released following the series.
There is no word on when another Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit film will be released. All we do know is that the series will be one day hitting the box office!
