Toronto Blue Jays Manager, John Schneider saved a woman from choking at a restaurant on Saturday in Florida.
Schneider was eating lunch with his wife in Dunedin, Florida when a woman had begun choking on her food that resulted in her requiring first-aid. Schneider had offered his assistance in helping the woman dislodge shrimp from her throat. He began to perform the Heimlich maneuver and had successfully helped the woman.
Schneider had first learnt how to perform the maneuver back in grade 6. If you wanted to know his reward for saving the woman? A free beer!
