Toronto Mayor John Tory spent his last morning in office today drinking his coffee, reading the latest edition of the Toronto Star and watched people throw eggs at his window.
Yes you read that right. A passerby today decided to throw eggs at Tory’s office window as he is scheduled to leave office after just a week ago announced he would be resigning following an affair he had with a former staffer.
The video captured shows John Tory not bothered by the eggs hitting his window. Not too long after, a couple of city workers had come by and cleaned up his window.
Tory had submitted his resignation letter yesterday and is expected to leave office today at 5pm.
