A group of women will fly above Phoenix State Farm Stadium before the game for the first time in Super Bowl history.
Before the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, four extraordinary ladies will make history. This remarkable occasion will commemorate 50 years of women flying for the US Navy.
Navy Lt. Caitie Perkowski and Navy Lt. Suzelle Thomas are both honoured to be a part of something so special.
Thomas will be piloting the Navy’s newest aircraft, the F-35C. Perkowski will be flying in the rear, which she describes as “every pilot’s dream.”
