Warner Bros. Pictures, New Line Cinema and DC Studios have premiered the second trailer and a new poster for the DC Comics adaptation and superhero sequel “Shazam: Fury of the Gods”.
This continues the story of teenage Billy Batson (Asher Angel) who, upon reciting the magic word ‘SHAZAM!,’ is transformed into his adult Super Hero alter ego, Shazam (Zachary Levi) who defeated Sivana and the Seven Deadly Sins in the first film.
Bestowed with the powers of the gods, Billy and his fellow foster kids are still learning how to juggle teenage life with having adult Super Hero alter-egos.
But when the vengeful ancient gods known as the Daughters of Atlas, including Hespera (Helen Mirren) and Kalypso (Lucy Liu), arrive on Earth in search of the magic stolen from them long ago, the family are thrust into a battle for their superpowers, their lives, and the fate of their world.
“Shazam: Fury of the Gods,” which was originally slated to debut back in December, is now set to hit cinemas worldwide on March 17th and was filmed right here in the GTA!
