Disney+ kicks off “Star Wars” in 2023 with the third season of “The Mandalorian”, which will hit the streaming service on March 1st. Ahead of that release, Lucasfilm has dropped a new trailer and poster for the eight-episode run.
In a change from previous years, creator Jon Favreau wrote all eight episodes of the season – co-writing the third with Noah Kloor and the fourth and seventh with Dave Filoni.
The season picks up after the events of “The Book of Boba Fett” with Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu travelling to Mandalore so he can redeem himself for his transgressions of removing his helmet.
Several guest stars return this year, including Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, Emily Swallow as ‘The Armorer’, Omid Abtahi as Dr. Pershing, Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as Carson Teva, and Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze.
