Lady Gaga’s “Bloody Mary” originally released in 2011 on the BORN THIS WAY album has made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 this week.
The track was released as a single in Italy and France in December 2022 and now officially a single in Canada and the USA and hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart at Number 68 with 6.1 Million streams in the USA and 4.3 Million radio airplay impressions and 2000 downloads Dec. 30 to Jan. 5 according to Luminate.
The song has seen a surge in popularity because of video creations inspired by the dance of Wednesday from the Addams Family hit spinoff Netflix series and has received support and praise from Lady Gaga herself.

The track actually never appeared on the show but fans have recreated their own videos versions using “Bloody Mary”
In the series, Wednesday played by Jenny Ortega appears in a dance sequence featuring the music of The Cramps 1981 single “Goo Goo Muck.”
Fans took the clip to TikTok but replaced “Goo Goo Muck” with a sped-up version of “Bloody Mary,” which then went viral.
Bloody Mary has been used in nearly 4 million videos on the platform to date. Lady Gaga herself participated in the trend, in which she re-created the dance, garnering more than 12 million views according to Billboard
“Bloody Mary” is Lady Gaga her 36th career entry on the Hot 100, and first since last year’s Top Gun: Maverick anthem “Hold My Hand” in 2022.
Lady has scored 5 Number 1 Hits including “Just Dance,” featuring Colby O’Donis (2009), “Poker Face” (2009), “Born This Way” (2011), “Shallow, with Bradley Cooper (2019), and “Rain on Me,” with Ariana Grande (2020).
