“AVATAR” sequel earns $435 Million at the Global Box Office but was expected to do better!
Avatar The Way of Water is the Number 1 movie in North America earning $134 million at the domestic box office and $435 Million around the globe.
Box Office Mojo projects the 192 Minute film will cross the $1.5 billion mark and it could reach the $2 billion mark in its lifetime.
AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER is the sequel to James Cameron’s 2009 film Avatar which is the highest-grossing film of all time.
Cast members Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Stephen Lang, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Giovanni Ribisi, Dileep Rao, and Matt Gerald reprise their roles from the original film, with Sigourney Weaver returning in a different role. New cast members include Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco and Jemaine Clement.
