We’ve seen some many images in recent months and now the first teaser trailer for the BARBIE movie has arrived!
Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling bring the iconic dolls to life to the big screen! The live-action film also stars Will Ferrell as Barbie’s brother and CEO of Mattel, as well as America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Ncuti Gatwa, Michael Cera, Alexandra Shipp, Hari Nef, Emerald Fennell and Emma Mackey.
The teaser trailer is narrated by Helen Mirren and takes a page out of Stanley Kubrick’s “2001: A Space Odyssey,” opening with the 1968 movie‘s iconic score and young girls playing with old-fashioned baby dolls then Margot appears in a swimsuit with shades and gives a wink!
Based on Barbie by Mattel, the Warner Bros movie is written and directed by Oscar Nominated Greta Gerwig and co-written by Noah Baumbach and sceduled to hit theatres on July 21, 2023.
