61 year Old Donnie Baseball is a 6 time All-Star in a 14-year Major League Baseball playing career with the New York Yankees and spent 4 years there as a coach, 3 seasons as a coach and 5 seasons as manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers, a 7 year manager stint with the Miami Marlins.
Don The Hitman’s Number 23 was retired by the Yankees
Jays Manager John Schneider signed a 3 year deal in October is very excited about the experience Mattingly brings to the Blue Jays and looking forward to the impact he will make on players and staff in the 2023 season.
