MARTIN GARRIX is NUMBER 1!
Martin Garrix has reclaimed his crown and voted as The World’s Number 1 DJ in the 2022 DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Poll.
The 26 year old Dutchman burst on the scene in his teens with the EDM anthem ‘Animals’, and was crowned Top 100 DJ in 2016 as well as 2017 and 2018. Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike won the Poll in 2019 and David Guetta topped the list in 2020 and 2021.
David Guetta drops to Number 2 after back to back Number 1 honours followed by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike at 3, Alok at 4 and Armin Van Buuren at Number 5. Afrojack, Steve Aoki, Timmy Trumpet, Don Diablo and Oliver Heldens rounds out The Top 10.
Armin van Buuren placed 5th on the overall list and crowned The World’s Number 1 Trance DJ of 2022.
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike at 3 overall are the World’s Number 1 DJ Group of 2022.
1.3 million votes were counted from 243 countries in this year’s Top 100 DJs Poll.

Martin Garrix celebrated his honour at #1 DJ in The World’s by playing a live stream recorded atop the world-famous, 102-storey Art Deco building in the middle of Manhattan — the Empire State Building.
Garrix said “It was surreal. It’s one of the most iconic buildings in the world, so being on top playing my music was very special. Music has brought me to many crazy places, but this was definitely high up there.”
