Julia and George are long-time friends and star in the upcoming ROMCOM movie “Ticket To Paradise.” People are excited about this reunion and calling it the feel good movie of 2022!
Clooney and Roberts play a divorced couple who come together in an attempt to stop their daughter (Kaitlyn Dever) from marrying a man she just met in Bali. .
Despite their friendship and experience it took them forever to nail their big love scene.
In their interview with The New York Times, they talked about the toughest part of playing onscreen lovers again! Getting the kiss right!
Roberta said “One kiss…And we did it for, like, six months.”
Clooney said “Yeah. I told my wife [Amal Clooney], ‘It took 80 takes.’ She was like, ‘What the hell?'” Roberts went on to say “It took 79 takes of us laughing and then the one take of us kissing… Well, we had to get it right.”
Clooney and Roberts previously worked together in 2001 in Ocean’s Eleven then Ocean’s Twelve, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, and Money Monster.
Ticket To Paradise hits the big screen in theaters October 21st
