The Weeknd announced he’s doing a second show here in Toronto.
He posted an image on Instagram with the caption “JUST IN : TORONTO I’M COMING BACK WITH WITH A VENGEANCE. GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH GETS A SECOND NIGHT AT THE ROGERS STADIUM… tickets soon”
The Weeknd didn’t reveal the date of the second show but tickets info coming “soon.”
ABEL is scheduled to perform live at Rogers Centre on September 22 which is the rescheduled date for his July 8th concert that was postponed because of the Nationwide Rogers outage. Several other shows were posponed previously because of the Covid-19 pandemic measures
It would have been the first show on The Weeknd’s After Hours ’til Dawn Tour, which instead kicked off in Philadelphia on July 14.
The Weeknd will wrap up the U.S. leg on September 3 then take a break before his shows in Toronto.
