The first trailer has been released from the Amazon Studios R-rated period drama film “My Policeman” starring Harry Styles.
A story of forbidden love and changing social conventions, the tale follows three young people in 1950s Britain – married and closeted gay policeman Tom (Styles), his teacher wife Marion (Emma Corrin), and museum curator Patrick (David Dawson) with whom Tom has an affair.
Flashing forward to the 1990s, Tom (Linus Roache), Marion (Gina McKee), and Patrick (Rupert Everett) are still reeling with longing and regret, but now they have one last chance to repair the damage of the past.
Michael Grandage directs from a screenplay by Ron Nyswaner based on the book by Bethan Roberts.
“My Policeman” will open in cinemas on October 21st before becoming available to stream on Prime Video on November 4th.
